A Persistent Wren
We use a brick to keep the plastic lid on the compost bin but our........sharp-eyed resident wren noticed that........the brick might have another purpose: something was using it as a hiding place, something which required some........acrobatics to find; which, if it couldn't reach it from one side, could perhaps be better accessed by........getting at it from another side, or by........working its way round the brick. This is one persistent wren, one which doesn't give up until........it finds what it's looking for, even though it's such a small fly it hardly seems worth all the bother though - and only the wren will know this - it might taste rather good.
