This peacock was feeding on a dandelion on Thursday in bright sunshine at Littleferry, and up until that time all this year's spring wildflowers had been white and/or yellows - snowdrops, daisies, dandelions and wood sorrels, for example - but today, deep in the woods and growing out of the dried remains of last year's bracken, we found....
....dog violet, the first of the next suite of wildflower colours, the blues, lilacs and purples.
