A dipper looking for lunch surveys the waters of a rushing burn. Within seconds he has disappeared but....
....two stones a little upstream mark the way he works through the water....
....surfacing quickly for a breath of air before....
....putting his head down to look for food - that's him just in front of and to the right of the brown stone.
He disappears again but....
....reappears on the far side of the rocks from where he continues his hunt upstream.
We're now seeing the dipper pair almost every time we cross the footbridge over the Golspie Burn, and do hope that the two will nest somewhere close so we can follow them through the summer.
