Littleferry Flowers

As if desperate to catch up after a miserable May, the links at Littleferry are now a mass of wildflowers with the yellow of the gorse matching the....

....yellow in the hearts of the wild pansies, and....

....the purple milk vetch almost matching....

....the buds in the first northern marsh orchids.

We walked carefully, trying not to tread on even the smallest flower, though the orchids didn't help by favouring the short grass along the paths. We finally came out onto....

....a great expense of sand, with not a soul in sight one way and only....

....one distant dog-walker the other, all under light winds and a blue and sunny sky.
