We live with Beinn Bhraggie every day, and with its domineering statue watching us, but it's when the skies are clear and there's crisp snow upon the ground that we most feel the urge to climb it. So we set off today in the knowledge that we probably wouldn't manage it - and we didn't, having to content ourselves with....
....the crunchy snow along the tracks of its middle slopes and the views of layers of hills, each higher and whiter with distance.
