We had further flurries of powdery, settling snow last night so the snow depth is now about 3", the deepest we've seen in the three years we've lived in this part of Scotland and....

....fairytale; and there are some interesting juxtapositions, such as when one notices....
....flowers, like this gorse, with a topping of snow. However....
....although we see the first signs of some thaw the minute the sun comes out, the road links both to north and south of us are precarious so, this morning, we had a 'disaster': the newspapers didn't make it from Inverness.
